What is the essence of the role?

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our international sales and business development team. Based in Sofia and working as part of an international team, you will be responsible to sell educational fairs and digital products to a clientele of top universities in French speaking markets, such as France, Belgium, Lebanon, etc.

N.B. The job is not fully remote. It is based in Sofia and may require frequent travel abroad. The payment structure includes base salary + attractive commissions per sale.  


What will your job look like?

  • Develop sustainable relationships with new and prospective clients (universities in French speaking countries) for a newly developed brand
  • Perform research to generate leads and establish the first contact with prospective clients by phone, email, social media, etc., including travelling and meeting them face-to-face whenever possible
  • Follow up after client meetings – prepare quotes and negotiate with them until the deal is closed
  • Coordinate with internal departments to enhance the client experience
  • Respond to client requests regarding our products 
  • Co-operate with the back-office support by providing them with timely information and guidance
  • Bear responsibility for follow-ups and debrief sessions

What do you need to be successful?

  • At least 2 years of work experience in the sales sphere and a university degree in Management, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing and Communication or relevant
  • A skilled negotiator with proven track record in sales, B2B and business development. Previous sales and/or marketing experience would also be a plus
  • A self-driven person with an innovative mindset and the ability to build, maintain and grow client relationships
  • Ability and readiness to abroad when travel is possible
  • Confident MS Office user (especially Excel), comfortable with using a CRM
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
